What is copy trading?
Copy trading lets you automatically replicate the trades of a Signal Provider directly in your own trading account.

How does copy trading work?
Once you subscribe to a Signal Provider, their trades can be automatically copied to your account using one of two options:
Smart Scaling: Automatically adjusts copied trade sizes based on your account balance compared with the Signal Provider’s balance.
Example: If the Signal Provider has $3,000 and trades 1 lot, and you have $300, your copied trade would be 0.1 lots.
Exact Copy: Copies the same lot size traded by the Signal Provider, regardless of the difference in account balances.
Example: If the Signal Provider trades 0.1 lot, your account will also copy 0.1 lot.
How does a subscription work?
Choose a Signal Provider: View the available Signal Providers and review their performance, risk metrics, fees and trading history.
Set up your copy: Choose Smart Scaling or Exact Copy, select the account you want to copy from and review your funding requirements and Stop Loss settings.
Pay your subscription fee: The monthly subscription fee is paid upfront from your copier account when you subscribe. You’ll need enough available balance in your account to cover the fee and your copy trading funding requirements.
Automatic renewal: Your subscription automatically renews each month on the same date unless you stop copying. You’ll need sufficient funds in your account to pay the renewal fee.

How do I evaluate a Signal Provider?
You can review a Signal Provider’s historical performance, returns, drawdown, MMR ranking, trading frequency and trading history.
These metrics can help with your assessment, but past performance is not an indication of future performance. You should review the available information and conduct your own due diligence before deciding who to copy.
Why is my profit different from the signals I've subscribed to?
Due to differences in balance, leverage, account type, or you mannually trade on your trading platform and unforeseeable factors in actual market movements, it is impossible for trading profits to be completely consistent. However, maintaining similar balance, leverage, and account type can minimize differences.
How does the performance fee work?
The performance fee, based on the High-Water Mark Principle, is charged as a percentage of the profits on the copier’s investment. It is calculated on the cumulative gains and losses of copied trades and only applied if the cumulative profit is positive, ensuring fees are charged only when there is actual profit.
Can I withdraw from my Copy Trading account?
If you are still subscribed to a copy trading service, you must first cancel your subscription. Withdrawals can only be made after the settlement process is completed.
How can I assess the risk of a Signal Provider?
You can review the Signal Provider’s equity curve, Maximum Drawdown (MDD), winning rate and expectancy to better understand their historical trading performance and risk.
Pay particular attention to MDD, which shows the largest historical decline, and the equity curve, which shows how performance has changed over time.
Past performance is not an indication of future performance, so you should review the available data and conduct your own due diligence before copying.
What is the Minimum Funds amount when copying a Signal Provider?
The Minimum Funds amount shows the minimum funding required to start copying your selected Signal Provider.
You’ll see this amount when setting up your copy, before selecting Copy Now. If your selected trading account does not have enough available funds, you can add funds before you start copying.
What’s the difference between pausing and stopping copying?
Pause Copying: You remain subscribed to the Signal Provider, but new trades are not copied. Existing copied positions continue to follow the Signal Provider’s closing actions, and you can resume copying at any time.
Stop Copying: Your subscription ends, no further trades are copied and your existing copied positions are closed as part of the settlement process.
How does the Account Level Stop Loss work?
Your Account Level Stop Loss sets an equity level at which Tradingcup will stop copying the Signal Provider and close your copied positions.
By default, Tradingcup calculates the Stop Loss at 50% of your trading account equity, shown as a currency amount. You can review and customize this amount before you start copying.
What happens when my Account Level Stop Loss is triggered?
If your account equity reaches your selected Stop Loss amount, Tradingcup will stop copying the Signal Provider and close your open copied positions.
The final closing value may differ from your selected Stop Loss due to market movements, slippage and execution conditions.
How is Gain % calculated?
Tradingcup calculates Gain % using Time-Weighted Return (TWR), which measures trading performance while reducing the impact of deposits and withdrawals on the calculation.
